Amazing little property and great value. I love the decor and amenities in the room. We have been in three different rooms all with different decor, the one with the geometric glass and oak headboard they show in ad is definitely the most upscale feeling and I love this room. Breakfast is excellent and worth the fee. Staff is very accommodating (changed my room without a fuss when I didn’t love the decor in the most recent stay). Soundproofing, beds and pillows are wonderful, very comfortable with big fluffy pillows and extra blankets which is nice since it’s cold out right now. Chocolates and a welcome note being our second visit in a week was a very thoughtful touch. Cafe Alberto next door is a great little piece of Madrid for authentic taverna. Location is awesome for all the things you want to walk to… Highly recommend this boutique Roommate Alba hotel.

I was more impressed than I thought. The hotel lobby is absolutely gorgeous with their flower and plant decorations. Very comfortable setting. My room was wonderful. I slept very well on the comfy bed and it was nice and quiet on the first floor. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. The location was perfect, not right in the high tourist area but a short walk to the shopping areas. I walked everywhere, even to the train station and museum. The shower had plenty of hot water. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Boutique style hotel. Staff were great. Very cozy and spacious rooms. Perfect location. Barbara went out of her way to make sure we had the best room for our stay. Actually walked us up to two different rooms so we could choose. Even though in the middle of all the activity in older Madrid (close to Prado Museum, etc..) hotel was quiet and we had a balcony that overlooked the street. I am a very tough judge of people, places and things. This is a chain "Room Mate" that I would seek out when making plans for other trips. Always can tell when a place is well managed.

We were in the Las Letras area and all the Madrid sights were walking distance away. The room was quiet and comfortable. Taxi to and from the hotel was easy. There are tons of great places for tapas and/or dinner and the staff at the hotel gave great recommendations and even arranged a flamenco night out for us. Great stay and we would visit again.
