"This is a small property with maybe ten bungalows. Unfortunately it it quite close to a marshy area so there are mosquitoes. The staff are friendly the restaurant food very good. There is a nice pool and sunbathing area. Walking to and from the property at night is not very well lit. Realistically the things we found negative are not the owners fault, but I thought I should note them. 5 minute walk to a lively area with bars and discos, and the beach."

"Perfect location!! Easy walk to a multitud of restaurants. Right on the beach! Perfect balconies to take in the beautiful sunsets. Onky down side was there was quite a few days where there was no power for hours to only several units (ours being one of them) in the building. The repairs seemed to always be temporary. Hope this is now fully rectified."

"La Perle Rare is a beautiful hotel. The bedroom was beautiful and immaculate. The bathroom felt luxurious. The Belgian owner was super helpful in helping me to arrange daytrips and transport to/from the airport. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and welcoming. It's only a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel to the beach and the main road of restaurants. But be warned - tourists don't tend to swim at this beach because the water is dirty. My negative comments don't relate to La Perle...
