"This property is very cute but needs some updates. We could hear the people above us morning and night and with small children jumping on/off furniture and running was a little frustrating as we tried to relax. The water in our room only ever got slightly warm which was tough when trying to warm up. The lobby is very cute and the staff seemed friendly and helpful. "I had planned for one night, then changed plans at the last minute because of weather. They were happy to accommodate an extra night. The young woman at check in was friendly and efficient. When I asked for a microwave for the room, they happily supplied one. The room was clean and comfy. I walked into town (very close!) for some fun Christmas shopping. Beautiful place with nice staff

"The place is beautiful with river running behind property with several fire pit. Property does sell fire wood so no need to try to look for stores who has them. I would definitely recommend to use the fire pit, the scenery is gorgeous but be careful especially during fall theres lots of dry leaves around the pits that may catch fire. The room is very clean with nice sheets and clean towels and has adequate kitchen equipment to use if you are planning to do light cooking. Theres no staff in sight but they are very quick to respond thru text msgs if you have any requests, I loved Avery who helped us when we needed to change the room we booked. She was very quick to respond and eager to help us. I would definitely use this lodge again for people who worked at the property and the beautiful scenery and the atmosphere. "
