"1 night stay as part of a longer holiday. Stayed previously at the Cally Palace and had a great stay. The room was well appointed in a quiet area of the hotel and was very comfortable with views towards the woods at the rear of the hotel. We had an evening meal which was very enjoyable, our table being close to an open log fire. The hotel is located 5 minutes from the A75 but is far enough away that there is no noise from passing traffic. The breakfast was good, there being plenty of choice and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will return for future visits. "

"Stunning views. Hotel is situated on a cliff edge overlooking the sea. I could sit and stare at that view all day, Hotel was short staffed but I think to be fair they’ve just been caught out by being very busy out of season, food was great and I’d definitely recommend it. Staff are all friendly, from the receptionist who had a sore ankle to to the Manageress, the waitresses and night manager all made you feel very welcome. Everyone had a good attitude and couldn’t have done anymore to help us during our stay. Rooms are in need of a wee refurb but I’d still return as it is, given the friendly staff and reasonably priced food and drink, it’s a great choice for a wee random night away. 10/10 from me. "

"The host were absolutely amazing people! Properties were clean and beautiful! Has a beautiful view and not to far from the banks of Loch Lomond(5min) and not to far from the highlands! Also very close to Glasgow! 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Next trip to Scotland will be staying again!"

"Property was quiet, a bit of noise from, other guests but only to be expected. This is quite a large hotel but we visited in February so I cannot vouch for what it is like in summer. Location is good and is convenient for beach, supermarkets and public transport. The staff we dealt with were efficient and friendly. We would visit again."
