"Good value, we liked this quieter side of Shinjuku but the bathroom has an awful sewer smell all the time. If the bathroom door is closed it’s fine. Overall, for the price we loved the space was we had 4 large suitcases, 1 carry on and 4 large back packs. We are a family of 4 travelling, so space was important for us."

"Location! Location! Location! Its steps away from the station in Shibuya and the shibuya scramble. The staff are nice. It’s closed to convenience store and McDonald’s. They even lend us umbrellas cause it was raining. There is a water dispenser where you can get cold water. The only thing is the room is a little bit small. "

"This hotel was perfect for a short trip. Rooms are small but it was ok as we were barely in the room. Bonus! Magna magazines were available to read in the lobby all day, unlimited drinks and coffee, and self serve vanilla ice cream. This was such a treat especially coming back to the hotel. "The location of this property is excellent. Centrally located and only a few minutes to walk to the Shibuya Scramble but yet it is in a quieter area. You can walk everywhere in Shibuya so you can't really beat this location. The downside is there is no driveway for taxis to stop. The taxi just stops at the side of the street. "The Mustard Hotel offers a very unique stay that you won't forget. My wife and I greatly enjoyed renting records to play in our room. The staff was very friendly and patient with our basic japanese. Our room was on the smaller side, but not too bad for Tokyo. Overall a very fun experience near some awesome areas in Shimokitazawa!"

Great stay in Kabukicho

"Lovely time as always. The hotel is such a treat and conveniently located in a very central location in Kabukicho which offers access to a lot of train lines via the Shinjuku station. Plus you’re right by two movie theaters and several arcades! And of course lots of night life options. "
