Very friendly staff, nice view of the park from the room.
Lots of hot water and powerful shower.
Old and small TVs with very limited channels.

The room was facing the msin road. No double glazing, so it was cold and extremely noisy.
The shower in our room worked but this didnt stop the tsps from producing water, therefore bath filled with water everytine you had s shower.
TV in the room did not work, infact the plug socket didnt even work.
The queue for Breakfast was horrendous. You had to queue every morning which took snout 15 minutes to be seated, as ckearky thete was not enough staff to be able to clear tables for you to be seated.
On a positive note, the hotel was clean and in a great location.
This hotel is in a convenient location, it is reasonably priced for London, the staff are helpful and pleasant and I particularly like the room which have a view of Russell Square.

1960s luxury hotel now tired and past its sell-by date. Clean and tidy, but breakfast choices and quality poor, also towels, loo paper and beds. Tiny fuzzy TV and no room safe all indicate extreme cost control to maintain viability and compete with well known budget chains.
