"But if an odd one. I called the hotel to book but when I mentioned our young child and we’d need a travel cot or put down bed they said they were full. However, on Hotels.com, rooms were still available (pre booked as a football weekend?) I booked and called the morning of the visit to check about a roll out bed - reception staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. Same chap was on reception at check in. All the staff have been brilliant. Thank you! Also, it’s a great place for families. So central. Everywhere is a walk. An odd point, but the sound insulation at the hotel is amazing. Weddings, parties etc. Couldn’t hear a thing in our room!"
