"I cannot give enough positive accolades for my stay. The resort is stunning, all the food was modestly priced and exceptional. I didn’t have a single bad meal. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, and the pools were great! Especially the staff was exceptional. Each restaurant we dined in did not disappoint, you don’t even have to leave. Only gripe is the several day Indian wedding blaring their music during their festivities our entire stay. Could have done without that experience. "

"The hotel and its grounds were very nice and very convenient for the places we wanted to visit by car, however there are very few places to eat within walking distance. We walked to Casa do Lago for a meal which was very nice and there was also a sushi, Chinese and another restaurant in the same vicinity but we didn’t use these. The hotel has an A La Carte menu, however this was never in operation during our week long stay as they had a buffet dinner every evening, which is much more expensive...

"Palacio de Seteais is one of the loveliest hotels we have stayed at. The location is fantastic, the palace is beautiful and the service is top-notch. "Everything about our one night stay in this romantic boutique hotel was beyond our imagination. Only wish it could have been longer. Of note, if driving you need to get a passcode/qr code from the hotel to actually enter the area to arrive at the hotel. Parking is extremely limit, though free IF you can find it on the tiny narrow streets. My understanding is that the hotel has a garage somewhere down the street but can only hold 6 cars and it's 20€ per night "

"This was a large apartment conveniently situated down a quiet street near the train station and the buses. It was a pleasant walk to the historical part of town. The villas had cooking facilities and a separate bedroom. Though the bathroom was large, the toilet was situated so the shower door had to remain open while using to accommodate knees. I thought it was hilarious."
