"The stay was because of Hurricane Milton evacuation in October 2024. Needed an affordable getaway not in the path of the storm where our daughter's family could also get lodging with their 3 kids and wiener dog. We ended up extending our stay 2 extra nights to make sure it was safe to go home, so stayed 5 nights total. The room had a desk, desk chair and a small very hard chair, but no table to eat at. "It is a motel. But all things considered, it reminded me of the old days. It's clean, the owners are accommodating, and the location gave me easy access to anywhere i wanted to go in Pensacola. "Arrived at property and noticed there weren’t many vehicles, but people hanging out in parking lot — pool was the color of swamp water and looked similar to the swamps in Louisiana — the person working desk walked us to our room and before we walked through hallway doorway to where the guest rooms are, it smelled terrible— when the room was shown to us, it was “creepy”— one bed had a quilt on it, did not match other bed and looked as if someone was living in the room and had decorated (tried to)...
