"Hotel is a beautifully rehabbed old building centrally located in Trapani within walking distance of the historic district and the water on either side. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating and gave us great recommendations about restaurants and things to do in Trapani. We opted for their valet parking (at additional charge, I think it was 20 Euro/day) which made it very easy and included in and out access for the car. Big problem the shuttle back to the ferry which is offered as part of the service was refused apparently because the ferry left at 7.55am and the shuttle starts ay 8am. To be at tbe ferry the shuttle would need to have left at 7.30 !!! I was advised to get a taxi. I walked. The onsite shop and bar barista closed for tbe season midway through my stay. "The hotel has a great location, but bad management. The place is wrecked, everything is rusted and VERY old. The double beds are actually 2 single mattresses, so if you are a couple prepare to fall between the gap. There is no Wi-Fi in rooms or anywhere near them. You have to go to reception, and it's limited even at hours with no one around. Took me 15 mins each time to download emails. The staff are all really unfriendly/not helpful even if you speak Italian. You can't pay with cash but...

"the only annoying thing was the lack of english skills of the staff making it somewhat difficult to communicate, but they were all very nice and the fact that dinner was not served before 8pm, which is quite late; otherwise very chill and laid back vibe, nice pool, big rooms, amazing breakfast, good coffee, we enjoyed our stay and could imagine staying even longer"

A second room with jacuzzi was attached to our suite.The staff was very helpful, calling taxis for us and reserving excursions. Unfortunately, we booked Monday thru Thursday. "Absolutely loved this place! The combination of a historical building fused with modern facilities made it gorgeous. The gentleman at the front desk was very passionate and very informative about everything you needed to know, including the surrounding towns. The ceramic tiles in the room and bathroom looked like wood, giving the room a very zen and spa feeling. The free buffet breakfast was also great, with a lovely lady making delicious coffee of your choice! I would definitely go back...
