"Clean, brand new facility, breakfast ok, I was expecting more protein choices but they only have egg dish varieties, no sausages, etc. I do have to say the female breakfast staff I spoke too was really nice, offering me cheese as a toping for my bowl of grits. We didn't have shampoo and no Ice bucket provided, I didn't inform the staff because my husband told me not to bother since we are only staying there for one night . "We first looked at the Motel across the street. It was terrible! Lake Roy was a nice clean facility the staff was very friendly, the only thing was we had to stay in a upstairs room and im handicap. They do not offer an elevator! Over all it was good ! "

"Under new management.New mgr.and family are extremely hospitable and very eager to please and insure guests are satisfied.Although,they are making great improvements to the property,they have a big job ahead fixing the neglected repairs and upkeep prior MGMT ignored.Needs more housekeeping staff.Also can use some updates on furniture and curtains definitely.overall for the price and location I was satisfied.mo bugs in my room,ac cold,clean."

"I stayed due to my work truck being in the shop, I stayed 2 days and really enjoyed it! The hotel is clean and quiet, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast selection was good but not really to my liking, there is a gas station, IHop, McD's, and other places nearby to get food. There is a Kohl's within feet of the hotel if you need anything as well. I was at peace & felt safe during my stay and would be happy to stay again if in the area."

"What would I say? I love this place. Very clean and very quiet. They have a kitchenette inside you can definitely cook and make your own meal no need to eat out.The Bed is very comfortable. Its been a year since I started coming here and here I am still loving this place. The price is better than anyone else. Owners are helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for those who want a cheap but comfortable stay. "
