"Lovely cottage, I was unsure when booking as there wasn’t photos of all the rooms, however they were all great. The location was perfect, right by The Roaches, great for walks from the door step and close by to other amazing locations in the Peak District. Being so close to the tea rooms was convenient for lunch, and we were near enough to the town of Leek for shops for supplies. Comfortable beds, and the whole place was clean and tidy. "Fantastic weekend and the property in Friar Gate is ideal. 10 minute walk to Derby city centre. Shops and pubs even closer for essentials. Staff on site to help and responded immediately to all requests. Highly recommend if visiting the city. "

"I have stayed in this property previously and each time it has been exemplary in relation to cleanliness, comfort and accessibility. If I have one minor slightly less positive comment it is that there is no provision for recycling that I've been able to find."
