"The place is very quiet and beautifully kept. I had the view of the castle from our room. The room was very comfortable and large. Super clean and convenient location. The breakfast was lovely and variety of food (fruits,breads, cheese, coffee/tea, orange juice, jam/jelly, etc). The staff very friendly and welcoming. I would go back in a heartbeat! "

"The hotel is located 20 mins from Nazare and 10mins from Alcobaca. Its a hidden gem in the mountains. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Always with a smile. The suites all have a balcony and view of the valley. Breakfast spread was good. One of the best Frssh oranges i enjoyed was here. The kiwis were also fresh, sweet n juicy. Only peeve i had was with the internet router. Each room has its own wifi router and its from the TV. If you turn off the tv, internet is shutoff.. Wifi password...

"Hotel was beautiful, it took a while to check in as there was only 1 person at reception. There was no restaurant service at the higest of the summer. Spa wasn't working properly. The. But staff was friendly and helpfull. Felt sorry for them, as it perhaps needed more people working."

" This is truly a beautiful boutique hotel. I really liked how it was decorated. I also like the fact that inside the hotel, there was a small area where you can purchase locally made goods and that they had an honesty bar where you could buy items for consumption. "Beautiful Portuguese Casa with lovely garden, pool, and breakfast/rec room. Amazing collections of various items on display everywhere you look. The hostess. Ari, was wonderful and so very helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Rio Maior is only an hour or so from Lisbon and so much more relaxing to stay and enjoy the surrounding sites.
