"Tracey is an amazing host. We were thoroughly satisfied with the 3 nights at La Vieja Botica: - different daily quality breakfast, locally sourced (not forgetting Tracey's signature marmalede), fresh and tasty; by the olive's wood fireplace - modern and fully furnished room, extremely comfortable bed with an ever important door that opens out (able to continuously air the room is a huge plus) - spot on location for the el saltillo hike - just few steps away from the starting point"

"Amazing place to stay - modern, clean, excellent location in the city center yet calm place to relax. There is bar downstairs but no significant noice even on Friday night, just people talking. We could sleep comfortably with the window open. Also check in experience was very good and welcoming."

"Horrible motorcycle noises with parking lot outside window. No toaster. Awkward check-in done via automation and no easy to use. Prefer in person check-in. Little shelving in bathroom for personal items and towels Too few clothes hangars. Not exactly spotless. Dust and dirt. Very small table for eating. Really could not use at all. Microwave was confusing to use and no instructions for grill option. Great that safe was included! Convenient location. Iron & ironing board included."

"Wonderful place, great views as so high up, lovely heated pool, spacious outdoor areas, our room had amazing views, fridge, cutlery, microwave, toaster and kettle. Peaceful area, we drove down to the beach area for dinner where lots of choice. Able to buy drinks at the pool area. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again."

"Location and view was good. Room had a kettle and cups yet no coffee or tea, Had to complain and finally was offered some packs. Tennis court was always occupied by non residents and couldn't play. Breakfast; had to request table to be cleaned several times, out of foods f9r some time. Very disorganized plenty of staff"

"I really love this place. It is like a comfortable home. Room 4 is especially great because of the view it has. Marcella is fantastic and helpful. It's nice to have the little breakfast area with microwave, plates, and everything (plus the coffee and tea and the food items you can purchase on the honor system)."

"A beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The service from staff has been exemplary, with particular regard for David (in the restaurant) and Sequoia (uncertain spelling, on reception). They, and others have been great advisers to first-time visitors. Other staff were excellent in minor interactions. Our only complaint would be about the delay with check-in procedures, but that was soon dismissed by us. We will be back... Even fellow clients are worthy of mention, particularly Dermot and...

"Beautiful apartment/room! The owner is English and the decor definitely felt that way. Our space was very spacious. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was great and accessible by car. Excellent stay- would recommend it to everyone. "

"The Parador in Nerja is one of our favourite places in Spain. We have stayed there twice and we always visit either for a drink or a meal even when we are not staying there. Everything is perfect. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the garden, sea and mountains is magical. It is so relaxing listening to the sound of the sea and taking in the scenery. We will return before the two year closure in October 2025. Thank you for a brilliant time."

For an amazing dinner and perfect hospitality, go to Oscars in the village. His steak was the best. Easily found using the map the hotel provided. "
