The staff were so helpful and extremely friendly. They also booked a restaurant reservation for us and couldn’t have been nicer. We booked a room with sea view and balcony,room was spacious and nicely decorated and the bed was so comfortable (queen size). A couple of small issues,toilet is quite small and we had a problem with it flushing during our last night if we were staying longer I am sure it would have been fixed promptly as the staff were extremely helpful as I mentioned. Would highly recommend this hotel. Location and staff were great…..

The terrace is a big plus for the hotel and the lovely view. I also liked the fact that it was out of town and encompassed a very pleasant walk through the tree-lined pathway. The breakfast and aperitifs were all very nice, but I must say, the staff were all brilliant. Really friendly, easygoing, helpful. I would easily recommend it and go again!

Hotel right on the sea front with lovely sea and harbour views. 1.6klms (1 mile) walk from the city center. Nice walk but a long way if you are not a good walker and I wouldn't want to walk through the park alone at night. The front terrace was nice with sun lounger and table and chairs. Large comfy bed with tv, kettle, hairdryer. No air con, but a fan in the room. Didn't have breakfast but was charged for it on arrival so had to ask them to take it off our bill at the end. The breakfast looked good with croissants, cake, bread meats cheese cereal. We only had a coffee, but it wasn't very nice. No bar so you have to order drinks etc from reception. There is a little cafe close by

2 day stay in La Rochelle
The hotel is amazing right on the coast overlooking St Rochelle harbour. Couple of things let it down but won't change our rating as the place is in such a great location. There was parking on sire and i think the charge was quite high in the room there was no water which seems to be standard in any others we have stayed in at that price. Towels were small, we didn't ask but I am sure their customer service would have provided more if required, and you have to squeeze by the toilet to close the door, no issue for a couple leave it open but if you aren't it was a bit tight. AS per overall score would definitely try and book this hotel again if staying in the area.

Ruhige schön am Meer gelegene Lage. Toller Ausblick. Außen augenscheinlich ein altes Gebäude, innen schön saniert und eingerichtet. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Wir waren für eine Woche dort. Familienzimmer leider ohne Ausblick auf das Meer zum Innenhof mit den Parkplätzen ausgerichtet. Frühstück stark verbesserungsbedürftig. U.a. kein Rührei und kein Gemüse vorhanden. Croissants usw… nicht täglich frisch. Personal, wie allzu oft in Frankreich, nicht alle englisch verstehend oder sprechend. Erschwert oft die Mitteilung der Bedürfnisse. Zimmer nicht klimatisiert. Ein Lüfter steht aber zur Verfügung. Zentrum gut fußläufig durch den schönen Park am Ufer erreichbar.

Une très belle vue
Nous avions une chambre située au 1er étage et la vue était dégagée et donc splendide. Petit déjeuner complet sur la magnifique terrasse. Parking facile dans la rue en ce pont de l'Ascension.
