"Spent one night here on the way between Nafplio and Olympia, it was early March and still the off season so not many guests but staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast buffet was fabulous and the dinner we ate in the restaurant was delicious. Room was very nice, pleasant little balcony and nice sea view. Not too much to do here in the off season but we had a nice rest day (which is what we wanted) on the little (rocky) beach and drinking coffee on the patio of a cafe down the road "

"The property is located at the end of the “shopping/hotels” strip. Close enough to all, yet far enough to be away to be quiet. Room was very roomy, had its own patio with wonderful vies of the pool and ocean. We had a car, plenty of on-site parking. Location was central to all we wanted to see in the area. Staff was friendly, courteous and attentive. Specially the breakfast staff. We were able to send our laundry out, back in one day, great job, and inexpensive too."

"I could write many paragraphs on the Romanos but I will stick to the highlights. It is a very good hotel - perhaps not quite exceptional, but very good in many areas. Combined with the Westin it is large - we went late October which was perhaps fractionally late for sunbathing (though it was about 25 degrees between 11-4 so good for lying by the pool or on the beach) - but perfect golfing temperature. The golf is excellent, the tennis set-up is disappointing despite the number of courts. Private lessons are absurdly expensive and they have not managed to create a 'Club' feel at the tennis by organising age group or ability clinics which are so important for kids to make new friends. The dining options are very good and the food is of a high standard (although quite a few restaurants were closed by late Oct which was disappointing). The place is crazy expensive - €5 for one Karaoke song or €50 for an hour's padel is not going to encourage people to try it with their kids. The golf is crazy expensive but full anyhow and very well laid on across the 4 courses. The buggy system if you have U18s is tiresome - you have to have a buggy but cannot drive it if you are U18 so if 2 kids play you have to have 2 adults driving the buggies (and they charge you for the extra buggy that you do no "
