"We came to celebrate our honeymoon, the location of the hotel is in an area far from the center of Phangan, but quiet and charming with a very small avenue of nice restaurants and a mini market. "In the morning of the day of check-in, we got a message from this hotel telling us they are undergoing “construction” and don’t know what when will finish. Said they had put us in their sister hotel - Koh Ma Resort - “which is more expensive” They give us no choice at that point, as we cannot cancel on the day of check-in. In Koh Ma everything was closed and only one restaurant available,which the hotel restaurant. It was so depressing... nothing to do at all. "

"Beautiful property. Really unique and special. The buggies around the property are really efficient so being on the hill is not an issue - just amazing views. Staff in restaurants are amazing and food options are good value and delicious. Staff in reception not very good. You do not feel there is anyone in charge. Check in process is poor. Rooms are dark. Beach not as nice as many on the island. "
