Tee off on pretty and challenging fairways surrounded by the lush Green Mountains in one of Vermont’s premier golf courses.

Sport and nature converge at Killington Golf Course. Play a round on the 18-hole course and enjoy the surrounding Green Mountains. Find the course in the heart of Killington Resort, Vermont’s premier destination for outdoor activities.

Be prepared for a challenge at Killington Golf Course. With a 2,000-foot (600-meter) elevation, it offers a unique high-country golf experience. Despite its stimulating layout with some blind greens and dense rough, the course is suitable for any level of golfer.

Navigate the sweeping space, designed by famed golf course architect Geoffrey Cornish. Sloping hills, mountain creeks and ponds dominate the landscape. Look to the peaks beyond, where Killington’s famous ski runs snake their way down the mountainside.

Warm up on the putting green or practice your swing in the sand and chipping areas. Go back to basics on the 15-station driving range. Take private or group lessons from the Mountain Golf School at Killington to finesse your game.

Relax in the clubhouse. Enjoy a hearty meal in the restaurant, which has outdoor and indoor seating. Relive the high and low points of your round over a refreshing drink at the bar.

Purchase all the supplies you might need in the adjacent pro shop. Rent clubs or a golf cart before you head out on the course. Note that the course has a proper dress code and requires a collared shirt. Do not wear jeans, sweatpants or athletic shorts.

Discover all the other recreation opportunities that Killington Resort has to offer. Indulge in a massage or manicure at Killington Grand Spa. Pedal your way through the wilderness on Killington Bike Park’s 35 trails. Glide through the air and enjoy the view on the SkyeRide. Fish, kayak or try stand-up paddleboarding in the scenic Snowshed Pond. For a grueling challenge, participate in September’s 26-mile (42-kilometer) Spartan Beast obstacle race.

Killington Golf Course is open from the end of May and mid-October. Play any day of the week, from morning to sunset, during the open season. Reserve a tee time in advance for your preferred start.
