"The location was great. The view of the ocean was beautiful. Watching the sun rise and set was absolutely gorgeous from the balcony or deck. The rooms are very dated. There was no air conditioning but with the doors open it’s stayed cool. The pool area is very nice and the pool is kept in excellent condition."

"Whalers Cove Oceanfront Resort is top notch! We could not have asked for more…ocean views right from our living room, the sound of crashing waves to lull you to sleep each night, steps away from the heated pool and hot tub overlooking the Pacific and a beautiful, grassy lawn overlooking the ocean just perfect for whale, sea turtle and dolphin watching. "Excellent location to enjoy Poipu area, easily walkable to beach ( uphill return). We needed to keep front door open to get cool breeze into apartment. Would have appreciated aircon, however did know in advance that there wasn’t any. Property is well maintained including the pool and spa. Enjoy watching turtles in the surf! Would stay again. "

"Overall the stay was good. We spent 8 days and went to many of the sights and beaches. The walk down to the beach onsite is a little steep just stay to the right on the way down. The kitchen was serviceable and we used it a lot. The place Comfortably sleeps 4 with two open sleeping quarters. The sofa / TV area was nice and the lanai was nice. A few maintenance items in the unit that need attention and the unit is somewhat dated but does the job. "
