"We were there at the end of the season. Many restaurants and shops were closed. The people working in the hotel were all very kind and helpful. We had a terrific week there and we certainly would recommend this hotel and Zakynthos. "

"All in all a fabulous stay at Ilios Hotel. I would thoroughly recommend it. The staff are friendly and helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is good and there is plenty of it. The pool is lovely, and quiet, no fighting for a sunbed. Would definitely stay again. "

"Unterkunft, Personal, Frühstück waren TOP! Strand und das Meer leider wenig toll. Relativ schmaler Strand mit Steinen zum Meer hin und im Wasser felsig und kein klares Wasser, wie an anderen Stellen in der Umgebung."

"Struttura bella ma personale scortese e poco disponibile. Al nostro arrivo la manager non aveva la nostra prenotazione. Si è dimostrata sin da subito poco collaborativa e solo dietro nostra insistenza ha trovato per noi una camera per la prima notte (avevo prenotato 6 notti), affermando che la mattina seguente avremmo dovuto lasciare la struttura perchè già tutta al completo. Solo grazie all'intervento di Expedia la mattina seguente siamo riusciti a trovare una soluzione al problema e siamo...

"Our second time staying at St. John Villas, it is extremely restful & quiet, being on the hillside above Tsilivi itself. The trade-off for this is that there is a 10 minute walk down the hill to the town, which is pleasant enough - but not so pleasant making the return journey - the 8-10 euros for a taxi is a no-brainer! We had a couple of small issues with the villa which were dealt with immediately by the staff with no fuss. We will definitely stay here again."

"Large beautiful, modern room with fantastic indirect lights. Balcony with a nice sea view. In the evening the lightning was a bit disturbing when sitting on the balcony as the lights circulate in a loop around the facade making it very bright a few seconds and darker (better) the next seconds. Breakfast with a good selection, even if our favourites werethe fried eggs, tomato slices and watermelon. Friendly and helpful reception staff."
