"Good location next to Kanazawa station. Smaller room and bathroom. No A/C only heater was available. Unable to open window tor ventilation due to train tracks nearby. Big bonus is the public bath facility inside the hotel. "

"We had an amazing time at this Ryokan - traditional Japanses hotel. We had a junior suite, so spacious, itcwas so relaxing. Buffet breakfast, good selection was included. We had kimonos, socks and shoes in room and traditional sweets in room everyday with an explanation of their origin. Would recommend the teahouse evening with tea house tour. Walking takes 30 mins to castle and centre."

"This place is a jewel. Gorgeous rooms, terrific bathing area, and staff that is exceptional. It’s located a bit away from the action, but their shuttle service to the station works very well. I felt we got great value. "

"Very traditional Japanese hotel. Enjoyed the experience but as an American, I didn’t think the food was very good and I typically love Japanese food. There was an excessive use of gelatin coating on many of the dishes. Also, 2.25 hours for dinner was too long. We waited 15 mins after finishing each course to get the next one. "

"This ryokan was a top experience of our two-week trip in Japan. Such a charming and unique oasis and glimpse of traditional Japanese life. The rooms and facilities are even better than pictured. An onsen is included in the price, and you can go as often as you'd like. We highly recommend their nine-course meal that you can reserve (for an extra fee) up to two days prior to your stay. They even accommodated our group member's gluten allergy. The ryokan is easily accessible by bus from Kanazawa...

"Nice hotel close to many shops and food places. Walkable to train station but bus is also convenient. Hotel is on main city bus loop. Breakfast had good options."
