"Family of 4, stopover for a night before enter Thailand. Parking is safe and convenient, room are small but provide the basic necessities. Alor setar is abit boring, so don’t expect a lot from this town."

"An old building with a modern twist. Located within the heart of Alor Setar Chinatown, it has lots of dinning places and within a short walk to the city centre. The only downside(for us) is the loud live band music from the pub nearby(Terrace 48) which will go on till 12-12.30am :) "

I used the hotel for breakfast and for evening meals and both were very good with a wide range of selection. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and courteous. The main tourist sites within the city were only 15 minutes drive away or 12 Ringgit (£2) by taxi. "
