"A very comfortable bed in an otherwise slightly dated decor in the rooms. Breakfast buffet whilst a wide variety was offered, was lacking in quality and taste. For a supposedly 4-5 star hotel, it couldn't offer better quality of tea bags? Don't get me started on those rickety dining chairs and tables on both mornings at breakfast........"

"Please note: the area around the property is safe at night. However it is a commercial area, so no tourist sights, no history, nothing to see, nothing to do, limited public transportation. You can eat out like in other parts of Penang, so no worries that you'll be forced to take all meals in the hotel. But otherwise is very much a check-in and sleep kind of place."

"The property has been recently renovated and the bedroom was of a good size and the hotel is within walking distance to the main touristic attractions in Penang. The room in each we stayed was in the left side of the hotel, and at 6.15 am in the morning we would wake up with the prayers at the mosque. Breakfast is continental style - you can order omelettes, scrambled eggs or fried eggs cooked to order, there's tea, coffee and orange juice available, a hot station with Asian style noodles...
