"Amazing place! They don’t tell you about the amazing sauna/shower/bath!!!! I needed that. Just know there is a rickety staircase to get to the sauna and bed. Otherwise great."

"I once stayed in a traditional Japanese hotel. but this feels more like a hostel. The rooms are very small and so is the shared spaces. This place is good for solo travel or a quick night stay. The things I enjoyed the most was the comfortable mattresses and the ability to drop my luggage off in the morning. "

"It was great. Wonderful, friendly and thoughtful staff. Front desk was great help with so many questions. It's nice that some staff did not speak English, and some did very well. One morning my daughter was exhausted and couldn't make breakfast. Without asking the chef packed her a special to go breakfast that was perfect and amazing. Arigato gozaimasu Kamakura WeBase.... The new beds and feather pillows were difficult for us to sleep on. Futon firmness and personal preferences. "

"The room was perfect for two and staff was helpful. Nothing to complain about. It was safe, clean and comfortable. A short walk to the station with shops to enjoy. Loved my stay!"

"We stayed at this hotel for 6 days. The location is excellent by the Shonan beach and the view from the room was very nice. More importantly, the hotel staff members are customer focused and make sure every customer feels special. I would stay at this hotel again when I visit Kamakura again in the future."

"Bushi was amazing!! he was extremely welcoming, very friendly and cooked some amazing traditional breakfast each morning. As well, the atmosphere of the guest house was extremely relaxed and easy-going. He was conveniently located to shops, restaurants, tourist, attractions, and getting around is quite easy. If we ever come to Kamakura again staying at the guest house will be an obvious place to stay."

"The person checking us in was wonderful. The japamese style breakfast was beautiful and yummy. There were bicycles to rent on the property which we utilized to see Nt Fuji just around the cape. The town's beach vibe was such a contrast to the cities we visited before. We highly recommend Kamakura and this bed and breakfast "
