"The property itself was absolutely beautiful! The only issue is it’s extremely expensive and built like a labyrinth. Even with a map, it took us an hour to find our room. We couldn’t park right next to the room, And as we were going through the corridors, It was real easy to miss a turn, and the rooms and entrances into the rooms were not marked very well at all. Anytime I’ve gone to a five star hotel like this before I’ve always had a bellman guide us to the room. That did not happen here...

"We were really grateful to the staff and the great service at this hotel. While it has a few tired features, they are actively refreshing it in phases. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom place was great, and we made full use of the little kitchenette. Given that it was shoulder season, the security staff and manager generously allowed us to park and lock our small motorcycle trailer in their underground parking, allowing us to ride on to Baja. "This has got to be one of the best places we've stayed with our family! We have 2 toddlers and it was the perfect stay for us. It felt/was a paradise and getaway from the city. We enjoyed going for walks and the pool area. The ducks and scenery was incredible. We were supposed to be in the balcony but im glad we were in the lower level. "We choose this old hotel for the price, and the access to numerous mineral hot tubs and pools right outside our room and were not disappointed. There is secure parking and good restaurants an easy walk away. When our room had an issue with the plumbing the response was prompt...and we were moved to a new room immediately. "

"This is a very nice and comfortable hotel. The only thing I didn’t like is they don’t provide blankets. Turning the heater on in leu of blankets isn’t so healthy especially as we were still breathing contaminated air from the fires! I had to turn the heater off once I contacted the front desk so they could provide blankets. It was very cold in Palm Springs when I was there. "
