"Bed was comfortable and soon was warm. There was an awful smell, like rotted fish, coming from the drain in the bathroom. They had the garbage can over it, we had to put a towel under the garbage to keep it from stinking the bathroom and room. Also, the parking lot was not cleaned at all, so extremely slippery with ice. "I stayed in house 5, room 17. So cute inside! It was wonderful and spotless when I arrived. It was modern and offered the amenities listed. The woman at the front desk was very kind and gave clear directions to my room. Although I did not eat breakfast in the morning, it looked delightful as I was checking out. The location offers many views and was easy to access. Thank you for everything"

"The Langvatan Guesthouse was the nicest stay so far during our past 8 days in Iceland. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The common dining area was very cozy and warm. The washrooms were spacious and clean. The rooms were simple and small, but that's all you really need at night. The breakfast was DELICIOUS! So many options to choose from.
