"The facilities are dated. The service can be a little slow. But overall, so beautiful and at the price point I think a great deal. The breakfast is pretty good, go early if you want less of a crowd. The food overall was well priced (higher than usual Vietnam prices but well lower than equivalent properties in the US) and delicious. "I booked a villa with private pool on the beachfront, I got a studio on the 11th floor. I booked at Vinpearl Nha Trang Bay Villas and ended up at Vinpearl Nha Trang Bay Villas & Resort and in the highrise resort part. Not sure if I've been "ripped" by Expedia or by Vinpearl. All info from Expedia shows that I was in a ground level room/villa of a facility that was only 1 level. So, so disappointed. "The hotel was nice, and the room was also pretty nice, but what you can't possibly understand from the photos is how incredibly busy this place is, the level of noise and constant activity is absolutely tiring. This building has more than 10 elevators and yet there almost impossible to get, and if you do, they're always packed, weather there going up or down. "The Alma resort is truly an exceptional family friendly resort. Every day there were tons of activities for children and adults, like the kids club, water park, and 12 different pools. The food is amazing and we loved the breakfast options. All the specials were great as well like happy hour at the beach club. The staff are all incredibly kind and remembered the eating preferences of my daughter and brought her favorite vegetables at dinner, or my coffee preference at breakfast in the morning. Even though it’s a big resort we never felt like there were too many people and there was just enough attention for us from the staff. The spa experience was also amazing and we’ve left the resort totally rejuvenated. This resort was fantastic and we cannot wait to visit again! "
