"The buildings are quite dispersed and the walkways are uneven making it difficult to walk around the property. Also, the interior of the room also has uneven little steps in and out of the bathroom, a big tripped hazard. Breakfast selections were ok. The hot foods never seems to be served hot, Luke warm at best. The staff was definitely kind, cheerful and helpful. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Villas by Weekender due to how central the resort is to all the action of Lamai Beach. Once you walk out of the resort you're in the middle of everything with lots to see and due all within walking distance. The great thing is that while you're on the property itself, it's very quiet and you don't get all the noise from the street. Our bungalow was comfortable and the staff were very quick to fix a small repair required to our toilet. The only complaint we had was...

"Great location, beach just across the road. There was no cable stations apart from news. Suggest you bring iPad or computer. Otherwise the staff were fantastic, location & pool is lovely. Close to everything, very relaxing stay."

"Lovely quiet resort and nice little pool. The beach is nice but you can’t really swim because of rocks but we just enjoyed pool time. It’s also just a couple of quid ride to the night market and all the eateries and stalls so a good little position. Food and drink nice at resort too. Our room was huge with a lounge and kitchen with little terrace and hanging chair - gorgeous! Staff were ALL so lovely :) "

The Hive - Best Value

"What a great stay at The Hive. This is a wonderful boutique style hotel near the water with easy access to town. Rooms are bungalow style with AC. Super clean with great staff all around. Lots of chairs around to pool so no need to get up at 6 to throw a towel on a chair. Breakfast is great and lots of coffee options. Ive already recommended to friends and family who are now booked for March."
