The owner is trying to bypass my Expedia booking by offering to charge a certain amount On my card and then give me a third of that back in cash. This is illegal for both the card holder and the merchant.

This is a no-frills situation. If you're looking for a inexpensive place to sleep for a night, this is the spot. Sparse accommodations, but that is to be fully expected for such a cheap price. The main component that would make or break the experience is the cleanliness for me, and this place was, surprisingly, very clean. Staff were friendly. The first room they gave us wasn't fully turned down, so the sheets weren't back on the bed yet. We notified the staff at the desk, and they immediately moved us to another room, which was clean and ready. I would spring for something a little nicer in an extended stay situation, but if I just need a place to lay my head for an evening, this is where I would return.

Staff was wonderful. Immaculately clean with all necessities and extras for a comfortable stay. In lieu of no breakfast was a feast of coffee, fruits breads and snacks available anytime. And $25 back if you don’t need housekeeping!

Comfortable, spacious suite offering economy accommodations, with so many perks that it felt like a luxury hotel. The entire situation, from check-in, through our two-night stay, to check out, was efficient & friendly. I would absolutely stay here again.
