"Beautiful historic place! While our room was relatively clean it definitely needed a bit of a refresh-there were water stains on the ceiling and paint chipping on the walls. Very nice staff though! Enjoyed our stay!"

Staff very friendly and accommodating and the bedroom very spacious and comfortable, I'm a very Big guy 6'4 375 to be exact and comfort and space ate very important to me when I'm traveling. "We wanted a clean, convenient place to stay for just one night, and we got what we needed. Great price for a hotel, which was cleaner than most expensive ones we visited in the past year. We have a son, who goes to grad school in Greensboro and this is a perfect place for quick weekend visits. "

"Everything was great from the food to the service. The pool was heated to perfection. Couple small issues in the bathroom. Fixtures were old. View was of a parking lot. I would look forward to staying here again ir booking at annother Marriot."
