"Should have taken more care in investigating. There was no restaurant and no air conditioning which is fine if you are expecting it. Reception was pretty good although the language was limited. But basically it boils down to me not taking enough care to choose properly."

"This property was absolutely wonderful, out in the country with space between each house to go for a great walk but still feel safe. Woke up to a bit of fog coverage which just added to the ambiance. Only downfall was it was a bit difficult to find the reception office to check in. Breakfast buffet had so many options, and the staff was very friendly. "

"The property was admittedly further out from Cologne than we initially thought but the hotel itself was fantastic with a rail service and bus service bringing you straight to the front entrance. The rooms were perfect for our one night stay and the breakfast we had was exceptional. If I was ever back in this area I would certainly stay here again!"

"Flying visit on the journey home to the U.K. from Krakow. Arrived gone midnight and had to leave early so didn’t get to spend much time there but the reception staff member was very helpful; the room was beautiful and clean; lovely bathroom with huge walk in shower; grounds looked amazing. Such a shame I couldn’t stay to enjoy it more! "

"The hotel was excellent in facilities and friendliness, roomy, spacious with good breakfasting facilities too. However it is a bit remote and not entirely suited to my requirements but the staff were very understanding and allowed me to check out early, unless you are on a hiking trip you would really need a car."

"This hotel was a very nice surprise given that it is off the beaten path. We chose it because of its location to three surrounding villages and it was a very nice stay. The restaurant was outstanding and the rooms spacious and accommodating. The rooms are not air conditioned which wasn’t a problem as the days were fairly cool. The toiletries were a bit spare and the wall hair dryer was a bit odd, but overall, the hotel and restaurant were very good and it is a great value for the money."

"We picked this hotel as a stop off on the way to our skiing holiday. We wanted somewhere quiet with good parking, the hotel fulfilled both of these requirements. The hotel staff was very helpful, with check in and out being quick and hassle free. The room was nice, with a second bedroom for the children. Only two small things spoilt the room, the ash tray on the balcony had not been emptied and a light switch was hanging off the wall. As we were only stopping for one night, these wasn’t issues...

"The family room is really simple, 3 stars max (probably 2 is more accurate), but clean, no issues. You will hear water running if you open the windows (It's located creekside). But the owner is fun and welcoming, it's quiet, despite being close to railroad (German trains are really quiet, and there are very few of them). "Location is very convenient and well kept and managed very professionally...All the Staff that I was encountered during my stay ( two separate days in one week) was very pleasant especially Ms Dilara Ekinci that I was greeted and checked out..she had a very helpful positive attitude. "The staff are always so helpful and friendly, especially the reception and shuttle bus staff. We had a dirty hand towel in our bathroom and the service at our evening meal was not great. We have stayed here 3 times now and these were the first issues. Disappointed that the room service menu options have been reduced since our last stay. The area is a mix of development ground and housing. Nothing really near by."
