We enjoy the local shops nearby. It is an older hotel with the charm and quirks of such. Our room is very quiet with no noise from adjacent rooms or the hallway. "

Staff very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was superb. Typical German breakfast offerings, so don’t expect eggs and bacon or beans and sausages. "

"The hotel is wonderful, on the outskirts of the forest with easy access to hiking and a playground. Only a 12-minute drive to Heidelberg’s Altstadt, their breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Friendly staff, air conditioning, huge tub and shower in the junior suite, beautiful Biergarten with a playground to occupy the kids....all reasons why we would choose this hotel every time possible when visiting Heidelberg!"
