"Was a lovely hotel with lovely staff in a nice location, I do like the kings inn hotels but admittedly the bathroom wasn’t very clean nor modern and it did smell a little, but it was still good for the price we paid to stay there. The bed was comfortable and we had a sleep without any disturbances. Also breakfast was nice, and the bar maids were very nice and it was very calm and chilled to sit and have a drink in the evening. "Nice pub, our room was above bar so you could hear the bar below, it's a pub at the end of the day so you have to expect some noise. Room clean and tidy bed comfy shower good and hot, tea making facilities tea bags wont replenished. For the price of room it was value for money. "Really good customer service. I arrived late in the afternoon on Boxing Day, after a 4 hour drive, and one of the first things I was asked was had I eaten? Turns out it was a Boxing Day 3 course menu and the kitchen was just closing and the lady in reception wanted to ensure I could get something to eat rather than take a chance in the local area. Absolutely marvellous customer service and saved me a lot of faff. They allowed me to have what I wanted from the menu and tailored the price...

"Everything was great but they told us that our child wasn’t allowed in the lounge but when we went in to get drinks and sit outside with my son they was full of kids. Thought it was a dig at us for having an autistic child. He felt he did something wrong that’s why he couldn’t go in and other kids were allowed. Heartbreaking "

"Lovely weekend away for my husband’s birthday. We were given an upgrade to an executive room which was very nice. Room was large with good views over the square in front of the train station. Dressing gowns and Nespresso machine along with tea and coffee included. A card and a small box of chocolates was sent up too, lovely gesture, was appreciated."
