"We were delayed arriving due to issues with the Cedar Island ferry. I called Laura and she made arrangements to leave the porch light on and key in the room. She was so nice to deal with on the phone and the next morning when we checked out. Restaurant recommendations were great for breakfast, The room was renovated, clean and fresh. The entire motel looks like it is undergoing a facelift. I am sure when it is completed it will be very nice. We were pleasantly surprised at this motel....

"The property was clean and spacious. The only things we didn’t like was the AC, lack of cable tv (news channels), and windows on the front door. The AC didn’t go below 68 and reset to a higher temperature after we went to bed. I had to get out of bed in the middle of the night and turn it down again. For the TV, you need to use your personal login for a streaming service. My husband wasn’t happy that he couldn’t watch the news before bed. The only other thing we didn’t like is that there are...
