"Stayed one night with daughter as visiting a nearby university. Bedroom and bathroom were clean; bed was comfortable and location was quiet. Breakfast choice was reasonable; happy we opted for the small cooked breakfast (which was of a high standard) ;there was plenty on the plate. "

"The best B&B we’ve stayed in a very long. The Hostess Jules was amazing,the property was outstanding and in an excellent location. Breakfast was again the best we’ve had in very long time. Will definitely be returning to this stunning property."

"Very warm, friendly welcome (The snow machine at the entrance was a nice seasonal touch). All the staff were polite, attentive and helpful. The restaurant food was excellent. It all made our anniversary stay special. The building has been beautifully decorated and quality furnished in keeping with its history. The surrounding grounds were an enjoyable walk. "Nice clean hotel/bar. Really helpful staff. Nice food. Bathroom had a slight smell to it on arrival but after reporting it, it was rectified. Unfortunately the lights shining onto the outside patio fron the building were left on overnight so room was a bit bright"
