"This was a great hotel, but oddly, they asked for a 50 Euro deposit upon check-in. This has never happened to me before. If I had decided to maybe steal the TV, what would they have done, since they gave me the deposit back before checking the room? Probably charge my credit card - so why even bother with a cash deposit? Then the next day, they only gave me 48 Euros back, because of taxes. Considering what it costs to stay at a Hilton, I thought this was ridiculous. I only gave the full 5 stars because I don't want to blame this on the staff, who were friendly and efficient. "

"We had just 2 nights here, but this hotel is perfect. The highlights are great staff, the bar and restaurant area and foyer area, which were amazingly and tastefully decorated, in a retro style. We spent plenty of time here! Very convenient too. The online check in was great too. Highly recommended."

"We stayed here the evening before a morning flight out of Frankfurt airport. While it is completely walkable from the hotel to the airport, it was a cold (and somewhat miserable) 15 minute walk from Terminal 2. There is a bus which shortens the walk somewhat (61), and there is a bus X17 which has a stop right in the Gardens area where the hotel is, but we couldn't figure out the bus schedule for it. Morning breakfast was very worthwhile before our flight. The property could probably use some TLC as there were some visible markings and stains on the white walls and the cushions in the chair, but the rooms and linens were otherwise clean. "
