"My family and I had a good stay. Checking into our room took longer than what I was accustomed to(25 minutes) but much shorter than expected based on the reviews I read. The staff were friendly and professional. Our room was mostly updated and it was quite clean with an excellent view of the ocean. We even saw a sea turtle swimming from our balcony. "This was a business overnight trip This place was awesome, I’d stay there again. They had no air conditioning but had sufficient fans and it was comfortable. They had no elevator but filled out requests of the ground floor due to my walking handicap. Was just like home"

"I stayed at Aaron's cottage for two nights and it was a great experience. The cottage was cozy, equipped with all the amenities you could need. It had AC, fans, hot water, a comfortable bed, a kitchenette and full bathroom. The place is easy to find and there is a nice beach within walking distance. The place is ideal for staying in the Hilo area or for day trips to Volcanoes National Park, or drive to the top of Mauna Kea (4WD required). Several great local restaurants as well as supermarkets...
