"I highly recommend Pink Flamingo Hotel Kilimanjaro Tanzania. Leondro & Teresa are fantastic hosts. I was met by Leondro at 2am with a warm smile huge handshake and drink offers. "Lodge was nice. It’s older but they are doing their very best to maintain. Gardens and trees were mature. Pretty! Monkeys were fun to watch as they played and clambered through the trees. Food was good but limited options. Breakfast that was included was really good! Staff were kind and helpful. Shop was small, some souvenirs. Rooms were clean, some tiny and some much bigger even though we paid same rate 2 different stays (before and after our Kili climb). It met our needs for sure of a quiet...

"Property description said mall area, not true. This area is more of a truck and rest stop. Nothing nearby. Impossible to get taxi at night. Room was clean and large. People were very nice and staff extremely willing to meet any requests although language was a barrier. "
