"Hotel & service was great. The rooftop bar was closed and a shame that there was no signage until we went to it, the downstairs bar was nice though and good cocktails. Not particularly impressed with the spa. I arrived at the spa reception and the staff barely looked up from their computers. When I asked for slippers I was told I had to go back to my room and get them and they would be in the safe. I did this - no slippers, so when I came back, the lady unwillingly gave me flip flops, then...

"Spent Christmas night here and it served its purpose perfectly well at a very reasonable price for this time of year in London. Very comfortable beds and good temperature control ( pretty unusual in U.K.- rooms are often far too hot). Bathroom sink could do with an update but that’s a minor quibble. Didn’t use the bar or have breakfast so can’t comment except to say the whole ground floor was clean and welcoming."
