"Compact and well appointed , we liked the sliding shutters that kept out the sun, and tge masses of storage. It would be a great place to spend several days exploring the area. Julien and Angelique are good hosts who made us feel very welcome, and it was lovely to be able to have an excellent dinner there too after a long drive. We felt the only thing that let it down was the minimalist breakfast- not very good value. We would certainly return, but maybe not for breakfast."

"Marielle and Loic were very kind and warm. It felt like I was staying at my favorite cousin’s house, and the home being a Chateau was the icing on the cake. Le Chateau de Lavaud is a gorgeous, serene castle with a generous landscape and spacing. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had a quaint, antiquated feel of Spanish / Moroccan design. "Paul and Nicky could not have been better hosts. Always there to help book restaurants and suggest good restaurants to go to. Evening meals were excellent and their company also welcoming and entertaining. This is a well keep Chambre D’hôtes extremely clean. Very stylish and well equipped. The room i stayed was huge ! Nice little village in beautiful countryside. Would recommend to anyone."
