" Attractive and comfortable with a well set up kitchen, it was a perfect location for our annual escape from the pre Christmas Melbourne madness. 2004 was not a good year health wise for us, so we needed somewhere comfortable to do nothing but read, and rest and Banyan Place did just that!"

"Great location with amazing views. Unfortunately floors were dirty on arrival. Bathroom floor was disgusting. Shower leaks onto the bathroom floor, bed move’s because it’s on wheels and fridge freezes food."

"Nice place — would stay again. A bit spartan on linens. A squeegee in bathroom would have been helpful, to clean up after using jetted tub / curtainless shower without relying on the few linens provided. Air conditioning unit (a mini-split) only heated — in all fairness, we did not bring this to the staff’s attention, so could not tell you if they’d have handled it properly. At any rate, the end-of-summer stay was quite temperate and a cool evening with the windows open ‘til bedtime made A/C...

"Dropped in here for an overnight stay on our way to S.A. Host was still here to let us in even though it was around 11pm. Easy to find, comfy room and good location "
