"You have to have realistic expectations about this island. This is a 3 Star Hotel that can easily become 4 with a few small changes. Changes: slightly friendly front desk assistance, working stove at the cottages, working fan in living room at cottages. ability to charge to your room while being at the Beach Club. We weee staying at the cottages but had to have our Credit / Debt Card to close out tabs each individual day. The breeze was great but it would have been nice for the big fan to work. Fan and AC in the room worked great. We were told that renovations were going on at the Cottages at Stocking Island but the pictures are the same online as they have been for a year. No worries , feel slightly mislead but it’s ok. This is still a better place to stay than most and staying on Stocking Island with minimal people at night was a must for this trip. Staff is friendly but the star of the show is the Bell Hop with the deep voice and both Boat Drivers.they weee all extremely nice and welcoming. Willing to drop off and pick up outside or normal boat / ferry hours. Never seemed to wait more than 29 minutes to catch a ride to and trim stocking island. They all made for an amazing experience. We will come back but hope for actual renovations on sticking island. "

"Paradise Bay is isolated so be sure to get groceries etc. Restaurant and Bar on site very nice. We rented a car it is a must. No door in the shower area. We had a beautiful view had a little sitting area on porch. Very clean beach amazing. Cute little beach bar up on hill 5 minute walk. We ate wings and great cocktails and views. Staff very friendly. You must pack mosquito/sand flea spray they literally attacked us. I had red spots for a week. Highly recommend driving north stay right drive to the end of the road you will find an amazing beach! You can walk out so far! Saw a manta ray and a huge starfish. Take a boat trip south end of Georgetown. So much fun. They took us to little sand bars 5 i think. Gave us time to swim and explore. On the way back we saw a dolphin and the crew stopped the boat and let us jump off and swim with him! Highly recommend. Georgetown is basically some shacks maybe 3 places to shop. I believe only 3 very small grocery stores on the island. So i was very underwhelmed by Georgetown. Found super nice breakfast restaurant there best part. Some nice restaurants around island. We will definitely go back. Highly recommend going, just be prepared pack snacks for your family."

"Very nice. Nothing fancy but very relaxing. The best calm beaches nearby. Not a traditional hotel with daily service, but anything needed..towels, soap, services, just need to ask. On a windy day, their beach was still calm. Splash restaurant has the best conch chowder...nice staff available to help at any time.. the only downside were the sand flies...must bring repellant everywhere.. overall..GREAT PLACE"

"We were looking for an uncrowded, quiet and quaint lodging option. Wonderful staff, beautiful walks on the beach, incredible room views and the Blue Conch restaurant is delicious. Recommend a car to explore island. Staff arranged taxi to GGT and Emerald Bay Marina. Highly recommend if you are NOT looking for big resort vibe."
