"Such a fantastic customer service. We have nothing but praise for this lovely hotel and all of the staff. There was nothing too difficult or strange. We got caught in the strikes and arrived early and they had the room so let us checkin early. The half board was excellent with great meat at the taverna and there was so much food at breakfast as well. Beautiful setting and easy and comfortable room with a private pool, perfect for family! "

"A very convenient location since walking distance to shopping, restaurants and attractions. The apartment was bright and comfortable and the office was very responsive to our needs, even ordering a taxi for our return to the airport. My stay was okay until my check out time and was slammed with an unplanned bill which was based on not passing information correctly. "Beautiful property! Peaceful feeling. Breakfast and Dinner included. Food was amazing. Service was great. The staff was amazing and fun! Only down side was many of the amenities in the kitchen area did not work. For example the tea kettle didn't work and the fridge shut off when the key was removed for the electric. "

"The hotel is on the edge of the city center and only 2 blocks from the ocean. You would have to walk about 20 minutes for a small beach or drive 20 for a nicer beach. I rented a car and drove all over the island. Maria at the front desk was very helpful. Parking is hit or miss aw far as street parking. "I selected this property for one night because it was within 10 minutes of the Athens airport. It does not have a reception desk but their written instructions were very clear to gain access to the property. I wish I had more time because the property and the pool were lovely. "

"Ich hätte mir wirklich keinen schöneren Urlaub vorstellen können: das Zimmer war wunderschön eingerichtet, sauber, das Bett war bequem, Terrasse und Pool sehr einladend, die Aussicht ein absoluter Traum. Nicht mal 10 Minuten entfernt ein toller Strand, 3 Minuten bis zum nächsten kleinen Supermarkt. Saer ist wahnsinnig gastfreundlich und offen. "This villa was truly like living in a dream. It’s exactly how it’s portraits in the pictures. The host was very welcoming, had lots of recommendations of restaurants, taxis and more. "arrived in a heatwave at midnight, The premises need a number on the door as the rest of the premises nearby are local The interior walls were insanely hot and needed 3 hours of air conditioning before we could sleep. Welcome pack with water food and Raki was nice. Unfortunately I found three leech like worms in the bedroom which further inhibited sleep, although the beds were comfortable. "Aquila Atlantis Hotel is a lovely hotel with friendly staff. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning and the options available were very good. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds. A building next to the hotel was being renovated/rebuilt and caused noise on some of the mornings we were there even with the window closed. Apart from that the hotel was quiet. We were disappointed that the air conditioning wasn’t available as the room got hot at night. We couldn’t leave the window open because of the building work. We were offered a fan, however. The bathroom was very nice but its layout was a bit strange as the toilet was in the shower cubicle. The shower was big but obviously the floor got wet when someone had a shower as did the toilet. Our only other issue was that because the balcony had a solid cement wall, when sitting on the balcony you couldn’t see anything. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at the Aquila Atlantic. "

Surrounded by beauty in central Heraklion

"Staying at the Metropole Urban Hotel in Heraklion was a highlight of our trip. This modern, centrally located hotel was immaculate, well-appointed and comfortable. Our room had a small balcony with gorgeous views of the Cathedral of Agios Minas set on a busy city square lined with restaurant terrasses and loaded with happy families, the children having the time of their lives playing football, hide-n-seek and riding scooters throughout the day and evening. Such an idyllic setting! We were within easy walking distance of shopping and popular attractions such as the Venetian Fortress on the water as well as the extraordinary Archaeological Museum. The staff at Metropole Urban were friendly and professional and the room rate was very reasonable, especially considering the extremely abundant and delicious breakfast that came with it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a memorable Heraklion experience."

"An outstanding beach hotel with fantastic staff and service. The food is amazing, offering a delicious variety of Greek cuisine—from the famous Greek salads to fresh seafood and flavorful kebabs. It’s a great choice for an off-season luxury escape with the family. The sports facilities are top-tier, extensive, and exceptionally well maintained—including indoor and outdoor fitness gyms, as well as tennis, padel, football and basketball courts.
