"The Good: The hot spring baths on the 5th floor (inside and outside) are really worth the challenge in getting to the hotel. There is good hiking around the town although the info available from the tourist office is quite limited for those speaking English. "My family of 3 loved staying at the Candeo Nagasaki! The rooms were a little small but very efficiently laid out with a fantastic view. The view from the outdoor onsen was beautiful and we used every night. We loved being so close to Chinatown and there were many amazing restaurants within walking distance."

"Excellent location right across from Nagasaki Station. Even though it was in a busy area, the soundproofing in the room was very good and we could not hear anything from outside. The interior looked quite new and well maintained. I was impressed considering how inexpensive the room was. The free amenity room was also a nice bonus, with different choices for pillows (e.g. memory foam, feather) and other furnishings that guests can take to their rooms."
