"2nd time staying here for skiing and will be back again. Great ski resort, it was very warm (mid Feb) but most runs were in good enough shape and I even managed to find some excellent off piste runs on slushy snow on south facing slopes. "It's a nice hotel with everything you need, situated at the edge of the town which is superb. We stayed at the end of the ski season. It was incredibly quiet. Unfortunately breakfast is started late at 8 a. m and as we are travelling an earlier start at 7.30a.m would be better as the service was very slow. "Stayed for UK half term so we could ski in Baqueira, a 15 minute drive up the valley. The apartment WS well located in ielha with the Mercadona supermarket a very short walk away as are the old town restaurant and gear shops. I’ve not given 5 stars because the boys found the sofa bed too firm (although after a couple of days skiing it didn’t matter they were so tired), the kitchen had no oven and parking was often a 5-10 minute walk away which seems even further carrying many skis and boots...

"We were impressed from the start as were served a delicious meal even though we arrived almost at the time that kitchen was closing The staff were friendly helpful and welcoming Our room was large clean and comfortable with a fridge sink and cooking hob Disappointingly there was not a kettle or saucepan to boil water "

Great amenities but lacking the expected service

"Hotel is in excellent condition and have great rooms. However, we were not satisfied with the overall service level at the Hotel. First we were not able to get a table in the main restaurant for dinner despite attempting to book several days in advance, this meant we were stuck with the buffet/ala carte option in the other restaurant. From the looks of it, it seems fine, however the taste was just not there at all in any of the dishes. The fish for main courses was way undercooked, and the meats were very cheap cuts and far from tender. In addition the level of service in regards to the ski lockers was undesirable and cost us a lot of time."
