"We loved staying at this hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a perfect location. Close to restaurants and shopping. As we had never been to Chicago, we felt very safe. Our only complaint was that our King sized bed was actually two twin beds pushed together which was not comfortable. When we asked the front desk, they said that all of their “King” beds were this way. "

"I love the character of old hotels and this one did not disappoint. Pros: we had hot water for showers, plenty of towels, a comfortable bed, two onsite restaurants to choose from, and two complimentary bottles of water in our room. We called for room service one night; they were friendly and fast. The food was excellent and the portion sizes were more than generous. I ordered the hummus and the tacos, both appetizers, and I had enough food to feed 4 people! My husband ordered the club sandwich...

"This is the second time we’ve stayed here in the last two years but unfortunately this time wasn’t as enjoyable as the last. This had nothing to do with the staff or services, but we were able to hear the people in the adjacent rooms easily and we had repeated issues with loud people in the halls at late hours. We are not especially cranky about these things but the poor sound insulation does need to be addressed-at least on the 24th floor. "
