"This hotel in definitely Galatea for money and ticks most boxes. If you catching a ferry or a cruise ship they are over the road, namely 100 to 250 metres away. Now for the crown for this hotel, most roof bars I have been to are generally just OK, this is superb, the vibe is there, the drinks and service are spot on, but the view is absolutely the very best. Watching the ferries or looking at the magnificent mountains or just enjoying the ambience is worth the visit."

"I have stayed at the Ta Moana Resort several times and still incredible! We had a slight issue with the room but that was quickly resolved. The resort offered great amenities including Kayaks and snorkel gear with our room purchase. The staff is amazing! A big thank you to Hiti nui (spelling?) at the front desk. An awesome guy!"

"Amazing property! I had a water-front bungalow, beautiful and spacious with a little deck right on the water. I enjoyed the beach and free-snorkeling gear to visit the coral reefs with awesome marine life. Great restaurant, though the high-end restaurant 'K' is quite expensive. All staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Convenient, easy, good breakfast, friendly staff that goes an extra mile to help. Besides the pool and the ocean, they had billiards, foosball and ping pong. There is also a market close in case you forgot anything. We had a good time and would certainly come back. "

"Cook's Bay Hotel is a beautiful hotel in a magical location on Cook's Bay. My room was a spacious suite with a bed room, large bathroom, living room with a kitchen counter (refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, water heater, cooking plates) and balcony overlooking Cook's Bay. Great pool. Walkway to the restaurant over the corals gives you views at the life in the lagoon. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is possible to walk to a bank and grocery store (ca. 15 minutes), but there is no sidewalk."
