"We had the most perfect stay at “Le petit palais”. Great boutique hotel located in the beautiful “rue Suffren” in the French quarter. The staff was amazing and friendly, especially with our 2 young children. We will come back for sure!"

"Beautiful rooms, very comfortable and nicely maintained. Interesting, historic building in great location - easy walking distance to many sights in White Town. Nice restaurant food and great cocktails, but a la carte breakfast was not available - only buffet, which was simple but good. Management very friendly and helpful however, restaurant staff not particularly attentive so service could be slow at times. But all in all a very nice place to stay in the centre of Pondy."

"We extended our stay here. The staff is helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. This is a great location for a walkable distance to the French quarter as well as a number of restaurants. The breakfast is simple but good. Ceiling fan and air conditioner keep the room cold. A water kettle and cups are also available in the room as well as basic toiletries. Worth a stay. Lovely building and rooms. The wala need some fresh paint, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay. "

"I stay at Shenbaga every time I visit Pondicherry. It is comfortable, safe and clean. Breakfast buffet is excellent! The a/c is great especially on those hot and humid days and nights"

"This hotel was great for a short stay. The hotel itself lacks a 4star luxury feeling, but it has more of a small boutique hotel feel. It's also a great location. It's a walkable distance to the boardwalk/ocean front, which was nice. At night, the area was lively and safe. We walked around and even went to a few shops then came back and had a specialty coffee beverage at the hotel restaurant. If you choose to sit outside when you dine, the view is beautiful. "The hotel room was very spacious, clean and we had even a fridge with a Minibar. Waterboiler was there and coffee powder/tea. AC was in the room and a fan. There was also a big separate room with a wardrobe. The bathroom was western standard. The hotel seemed relatively new, also the remarkable elevator, which brought us silently to the 4th floor. Only downside was that there was no breakfast included, but nearby are many places where you can have breakfast. On the 5th floor was a gastro bar...

"Staff couldn't be more helpful, even an upgrade to ensure we had a double bed as opposed to 2 singles pushed together. The Hotel is tired windows dont close, therefore the traffic noise was too loud to sleep and constantly being woken up by car horns beeping from 4 in the morning "
