"This is a beautiful old hotel with classic marble and wood decor, which does show its age a bit but in a charming way. The location is close to the station which was handy for an early flight. The rooms was a very good size for Amsterdam, it was well equiped with good coffee, excellent bathroom. The price was very good for this quaility of hotel. Above all the staff were fantastic. I would definately stay here again, and recommend it to others."

"I felt like it was a good location, near public transit (which I took advantage of daily). One of the tallest buildings in Amsterdam (it seemed) so I recommend going to the outdoor roof bar on the very top to see the excellent views. Enjoyed a delicious latte made every morning by a very kind gentleman in the lobby."

"Comfy stay, the hotel is in a convenient location and well furnished. I asked beforehand for a late checkout as was told to phone reception at 7am on the day (not very convenient if the reason you need a late checkout is to sleep!) "The hotel staff were lovely and accommodating, even letting us check in early. The room whilst only for two of us was very small. You could not sit on the toilet without having to lean a significant amount to not be blocked by the sink next to you.
