"I had an excellent stay here. The apartment was very clean and tidy when I arrived and had all the conveniences one would need for an extended stay. It was out of the way of the high foot traffic areas but was a 6 minute walk to the city center. I would highly recommend it to others."

"Overall a really good stay. Apartment was spacious and comfortable in a good location which was quiet but not too far from the centre and local attractions. Only issues we had was a problem connecting to the Wifi which took well over 24 hours to receive a reply to our query and a couple of things would have made our stay even better, for example, a small shelf in the shower would be useful for toiletries and a kettle that doesn't spill! "The apartment was at a perfect location, 10 min walk to centre of city. Clean, bright, perfect size for what we needed and a fully furnished kitchen. A booklet was also provided with helpful tips about the suite as well as local places to eat and things to do. Highly recommended!"

"Lovely, modern apartment in a quiet area which is walkable distance to everything. Check-in process is also very easy. I would add that if you are after two separate single beds it doesn’t really have this - it is two single frames with one double mattress over the top and separate single sheets/blankets. Very comfy though. "

"Great location in a great neighborhood close to downtown, near shops and tram. Beautifully furnished with fresh bedding and good amenities, in a beautiful building. We did have to buy our own sugar, coffee and basics. There was no microwave. Would have liked if basics were supplied, but would still highly recommend !"

"The property was extremely clean and well kept. We arrived early, and left late, but were able to store our luggage while we continued touring Bergen. We had trouble with hot water however the host was so responsive. She eventually moved us to another apartment. Location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere!! I can't say enough good things about Christine and Kristen!! Would definitely recommend this property and host. "

"Apartment is very nice and as described. Communication with the owners is spotty at best. Even following the directions in the guest guide only resulted in one response to one question. When I enquired about an item left behind, there was no response at all. "

"Lovely view from balcony, room had a sofa as well as desk and Chair. Hotel was very grand and nice breakfast, although shame there isn't more options for vegan, as only had cows milk, eggs and pancake mix. Luckily enough fruit came out when I went back up for more bread. Room was poorly lit and was horrible buzzing from extractor fan /air conditioning unit from outside my room 117, wish I had asked for alternative room as really effected my sleep. "

"The hotel was within walking distance of dining, shopping and the Funicular. The breakfast offered each morning had a broad selection of breads, meats, cheeses and many types of egg dishes. The beds were probably the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Excellent property. Great value. Some renos happening, but minimal noise and inconvenience. Very friendly staff. Great meals included in the price. I felt quite at home here as a solo traveller. I had a spacious twin room with bathtub and partial view of harbour and hillside houses. Charming. "

"Lovely classy hotel in an excellent area. Everything was walkable, and breakfast was amazing. A la carte and buffet options available. The room was elegant and cosy. It was my Wife's 50th birthday just before we stayed, and the hotel put out some fudge and hand wrote a birthday message that I prepared, on a lovely post card, which my Wife has kept as a keepsake. I wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you Opus XVI for a wonderful stay."
